Well, I think one of the amazing things as a producer is that you don’t really have a typical day or week. I have a job that I do. I am a producer in TV an I’m a producer who specializes in studio shows which are multi-camera. So the actual technical job I can do is I can sit in a control room or a truck behind a director who’s cutting multiple cameras on a game show or a sporting event or an awards show, and I can time the show and speak to all of my producers over headset and end the show on my logo. They call it “landing the show on the logo†at the end. That’s the only skill I have as a producer. And some days, when Millionaire is on or Power of Ten or one of my shows, that’s what I do. I actually have a job in a studio to do. Most of the time, I’m making phone calls to people who might have ideas or people are coming in and pitching me ideas for new shows or I’m dealing with projects that are getting ready to go and sell ideas to networks or cable channels, or, once we’ve sold an idea to a network or a cable channel, I am overseeing the people who are producing it or dealing with the inevitable crap that comes up when things don’t go quite as you planned – putting out fires all over the place. So, in reality, the day can be anything. I travel a lot. I go to Los Angeles a lot for meetings. (I’m based in New York.) Next week, I’m going to France. I go to France twice a year to a big convention, Met[ph] and MetCom[ph] which are in Cannes in the South of France. But that’s, it’s a lot of range of things. I’m constantly looking for ideas and figuring out how to produce them and get them on the air looking something like I imagined them when I thought there were good.
